John Waters – It’s In The Book (Gold Vinyl)

“It’s In The Book” b/w “Proud New Father” is a cover of the US comedian/actor/musician, Johnny Standley’s stand-up routine from 1952. This is John Waters’ second 7″ on Sub Pop, but the first to not be part of the Singles Club. The 7″ was pressed on gold vinyl so that Waters could claim, “I’ve made a Gold Record!”
