Prehistoric Beat Is the debut album from England’s finest punkabilly band, The Zipheads. Originally self released (on CD only) in 2013 it is now being issued on Vinyl for the first time and also as a very cool Vinyl effect CD version. Prehistoric Beat is a thrilling mix of punk, rockabilly, ska and swing featuring their (almost) legendary version of Toots & The Maytals “54-46 Was My Number”. This re-issue features two brand new bonus recordings – “Prevenge” and a brilliant (soon to be legendary!) version of “You’ve Got To Pick A Pocket Or Two” from the musical Oliver! You gotta hear it to believe it! For Fans Of: The Living End, Tiger Army, The Stray Cats, The Meteors, The Guana Batz, Nekromantics, Johnny Burnett, Sublime, Long Tall Texans.
