From moody garage to freakbeat to mod-psych, The Embrooks from Kent-the Garden of England-have been consistently delivering solid 60s-influenced material since 1996. After 4 LPs and 9 singles, they’re ready to unleash their 1st 45 for Rogue Records, recorded at their own custom-built 8-track studio. Original A-side “Black-Hatted Lady” is a comment on the perils of warfare, a theme carried over onto the flipside, a cover of “In The Sky” by legendary prog-psych group, Dark.
