Founded in Austin, Texas, the band were soon popular and amongst their fans they soon counted big names such as Ian Astbury (The Cult) and Trent Reznor (Nine Inch Nails). Their self-titled debut (1994) was critically acclaimed and should be the basis for the cult around this band.
