Collects together drummer Chris Low’s original studio desk tapes of the band’s most collectable and long out of print 7″ singles recorded over 1983-1984 plus previously unreleased additional tracks, all re-mastered. The Apostles are best known for being one of the original, pioneering Anarcho Punk bands, corunning the London Anarchy Centre in Wapping (funded from the proceeds of Crass/Poison Girls Bloody Revolutions/Persons Unknown single). As well as their music standing out and ranging from heavy but tuneful punk anthems to more reflective numbers and instrumental pieces, they were politically uncompromising in a scene that was largely pacifist. Double album on red & black vinyl with fold-out crass style poster sleeve plus 32-page compendium of the infamous Pigs For Slaughter fanzine.
