Atomic Sherpas – Lit Up

Vince Meghrouni adds his blistering blues harp and saxophone to the scalding caldron of rock fury that is Fatso Jetson. He also leads The Atomic Sherpas, a psychedelic punk funk horn band from Los Angeles that has drawn parallels to Frank Zappa, Captain Beefheart and Tower of Power dosed at a punk show. "Lit Up" is the first studio record by The Atomic Sherpas, on which Vince is joined by some of L.A.'s most creative and interesting players, and cuts a wide swath in the groove-o-sphere from hard blue weirdo rock to rollicking space jazz.
