No, it is a conglomeration of indie-rock, blues, americana, and gut-felt passion. “No Djà Vu” is the first offering from Bedroom Shrine. Fronted by Johnnie Cluney (famed illustrator of over 3,000 Daytrotter.com images), Bedroom Shrine began when Cluney and drummer Dennis Hockaday left their former project, Mondo Drag. Together with Bambi Suits (rhythm guitar) and Aiden Landman (bass) they have assembled a lonesome, rock and roll, lo-fi jewel. These are gritty songs of love, truth, and revenge, written during a time of great loss by Johnnie Cluney.
