Alabama-born and Southern-raised, Brett “Bad Blood” Benton has been obsessed with country blues ever since he was a child, listening to his parent’s and grandparent’s records. His debut album recorded in Water Valley Mississippi showcases his own brand of delta and country style blues, skillful slide work and features Cedric Burnside on the tracks “I Got A .45” and “Alligator”.
