Black Viiolet – Dark Blue

The second full-length LP by Black Viiolet, the sultry neosoul alter ego of The Darts’ singer Nicole Laurenne. After the international success of her debut album and multiple international tours, Laurenne landed at legendary Black Box Studio in France. With her US-and-European touring ensemble, plus sprinkles by guest legends Blag Dahlia (The Dwarves), Jason Devore (Authority Zero), and Tom Hagerman (Devotchka), the album sparkles and winks through a heady cloud of jazz-club smoke.
