Vinyl comes with a 20 page A4 booklet which includes a band biography, plus flyers, fanzine articles, photos and memorabilia, plus first 100 come with a CD of Cold War live at the Autonomy Centre in Wapping. Cold War played at the very first gig at the Autonomy Centre in Wapping, London, a project funded by the benefit single Persons Unknown / Bloody Revolutions by Crass and The Poison Girls. Their music was a bit different from other anarcho bands, drawing on musical influences from Bauhaus, Killing Joke, Joy Division, Swell Maps… Chris and Paul went on to join Hagar the Womb (and are still there). ‘If you’re a fan of things like PART1, later CRASS records output, the Steve Ignorant project SCHWARTZENEGGAR, 1981, or even THATCHER ON ACID, you’ll be wanting this in your stockpile. Personally, this one is going in my permanent collection.’ – Maximum Rocknroll review
