Beginning as a macabre twinkle in former Color Me Psycho frontman Jackson Phibes’ crawling eye back in the icy winter of 1988, Forbidden Dimension prepares to enter its 4th decade with the release of It’s a Morbid, Morbid, Morbid World. Phibes and his longtime cohort P.T. Bonham are joined by the gruesome and terrifying Virginia Dentata on their 6th album, 8th full-length release over all. The 14 new songs range the gamut from baroque garage rave-ups to thunderous drunk rock to sleazoid exotica and back again. The subject of an unsolicited tribute album marking their 25th anniversary back in 2013, Forbidden Dimension have stealthily flown beneath the radar and yet managed to maintain a devoted sub-cult of deranged followers and weirdness enthusiasts worldwide.
