If you don’t know who Government Issue is, then pick up a book on the history of the early 80s hardcore man! One of the most respected bands to emerge out of the Washington, DC scene. Government Issue really hit the mark on their 1987 release of “You” – combining their hardcore style with a more melodic edge and is considered to be their best LP ever.
