After two album releases as T-Model Ford’s phenomenal backing band,(Ladies Man & Taledragger on ALIVENATURALSOUND), Seattle’s GravelRoad come up with a 3rd release, the epic “Psychedelta.” From the opening track, “Devil Eyes”, to “Let Me Hold You”, the band’s third album is a darker, grittier, more hook-based blues. There are moments when Jon Spencer Blues Explosion’s early works come to mind, but Psychedelta is a tighter approach. GravelRoad are well known for their tour exploits with 60,000 miles travelled in the last 24 months. This record was mixed by Jim Diamond (White Stripes) at Ghetto Recorders in Detroit, MI.
