Los Angeles native, Kaz Mirblouk is a maximalist! The sounds on his second full length, Careless by Contrast, are massive. Self produced at various studios around LA, Kaz and company have found the perfect blend of sweltering guitars, ala Smashing Pumpkins and My Bloody Valentine, and rich melodies that echo early BRMC and Slowdive. This record channels the internal struggles of post college angst. Mastered by Dave Cooley, this record is not to be missed and must be played loud! For fans of: Smashing Pumpkins, My Bloody Valentine, DIIV, Slowdive & Black Rebel Motorcycle Club.
