Land of Blood and Sunshine is a six-piece rock band hailing from the heart of the heartland – Marshalltown, Iowa – sending all those who listen on a journey through a musical landscape laden with elements of folk, psych, and good old rock’n’roll. They use storyteller songs with lyrics that paint visions of fantastic creatures and distant lands. With four full length albums and a 7″ record under their belt, Land of Blood and Sunshine is ready to release their fifth LP entitled, “Lady and The Trance”, on the Davenport, Iowa-based label Cartouche Records.
