Mophing People – Mppp

MOPHING PEOPLE is a Japanese alternative rock band formed in 2021 by Makoto Miyoshi and Litsuko (ex-SHONEN KNIFE). Their first release, a digital EP, reached number one in the alternative charts of iTunes. The duo also released a cassette tape via Gerpfast Records in Indonesia and a song on the “Japan Is Loud” compilation. Presented here by TOPSY-TURVY RECORDS is “mppp” (LP and CD), the first full album of their musical pieces containing all these fabulous tunes. MOPHING PEOPLE create today’s version of an explosive roaring noisy guitar sound containing plenty of the essence of the 90’s and 00’s sounds.
