Hailing from Vienna, Austria, New Native was formed in 2013 by guitarist Michael Hanser,bassist Simon Ecker and drummer Alex Straub. A year later they were joined by guitarist Christian Schwarz. After a number of shows across Europe supporting acts like The Story So Far, Seahaven or Superheaven, New Native released their debut EP “Twisting” via Goddamn Records. The release was followed by a full EU & UK tour supporting Pianos Become The Teeth and Silver Snakes in January 2015. Over one and a half years in the making their most recent effort “Soul Cult” features a fuller rock sound with rich instrumentation, whilst still incorporating their signature infectious melodies. Super limited pink vinyl pressing, with digital download card.
