The Bayonets – Crash Boom Bang!

The Bayonets is a 3-piece independent Rock’n’Roll / Powerpop band from Los Angeles, California. The band was formed by Brian Ray an Oliver Leiber in 2011. Brian Ray is best known for being the long time first guitarist of Paul McCartney. He also played 14 years and released several albums with Etta James. So he got soul. Soon Gibson will release a Brian Ray signature SG guitar. Oliver Leiber is a songwriter / producer and has been on the radio for almost 30 years. He has been writing for Rod Stewart and many others. He is the son of Jerry Leiber of Leiber and Stoller, who wrote the songbook of Rock & Roll with songs including “Hound Dog”, “Jailhouse Rock”, “Poison Ivy” or “Stand by Me”. Also involved have been Scott Shriner (Weezer), Davey Faragher (Elvis Costello), Adam MacDougall (Black Crowes), Larry Taylor (Tom Waits) and Steven Tyler (Aerosmith). Purple vinyl, limited to 500 copies.
