The Things – Some Things Else

The Things from Los Angeles were among the most important bands in the Paisley Underground scene. With this album, Teen Sound records reissue operation continues. Previously unreleased 1987’s LP, the period between the group’s second (Ouside My Window) and third albums (The Things). Influenced by Beatles, Byrds and Buffalo Springfield featuring some great fuzz work and beautiful ,fresh arrangement. Echoes of Love, Neil Young and Tom Petty! This album by The Things has been sitting in the vaults for 40 years. In the late ’80s, when Steve Crabtree’s band had run out of opportunities to work in Los Angeles in an increasingly asphyxiated scene and now quickly interested in other sounds and styles, The Things still had a lot to say. The songs that make up this album were later remixed and mastered by Crabtree but have never been released in any form on the record market. We are very happy that these gems of Paisley Underground finally see the light!
