Various – Touch of Chaos Vol.1

Yellow vinyl In the tradition of affordably-priced, multi-band punk compilations (like the Punk-O-Rama series) Mild Chaos Records is bringing back these treasure troves of discovery with the comp, Touch of Chaos Vol. 1. The 12-track collection is a well-rounded album from many punk sub-genres (hardcore, melodic, dance punk, pop punk). Before streaming and algorithms, punk compilations were the lifeblood of discovery, a fast, loud gateway into entire scenes. These records didn’t just collect songs, they built communities, launched bands, and documented movements in real time. They were how kids found their next favorite group, and how local scenes reached national exposure. A great punk comp jams bands together the way they were meant to be heard (raw, diverse, and side-by-side) and Touch of Chaos Vol 1 achieves this.
