The Violet Mindfield have a new album and it’s an instant Mod/Psych party! As you’d expect from this ace group, the songs are all 60’s Swinging London flavored gems but this time around they’ve really upped the Mod Freakbeat (Pop Art) angle. The Creation, The Who and The Action influences are so beautifully apparent that this LP will be an instant favorite for any fan of those bands! I can best describe The Violet Mindfield’s sound as PURPLE WITH RED FLASHES. This one is mandatory!
