GAUCHISTE – GAUCHISTE

Out of a shared love of both Metal and abstract minimalist forms, GAUCHISTE are two parts electronic genius and one part grim reaper. The sums of those parts is self-titled debut that fuse PENDERECKI to CELTIC FROST. This release has been mastered by James Plotkin (Khanate, Scorn, & Lotus Eaters). Gauchiste features Tannon Penland on guitar, who is also in the band Loincloth (Loincloth have a new release out 1/17/12 on Southern Lord). CD packaging is unique and comes in a round metal tin with a plastic window showcasing the cd inside creating a cool, mirror-like effect. The liner notes are stored beneath the cd.
