Recorded and mixed by Gus Van Go (The Stills, Priestess, etc.) in Montreal and New York, the album revives the songwriter’s punk and pop influences. “This is new love knocking at your door” rings the chorus of the title track, and you could take this quite literally for Montrealer Xavier Cafeine, whose recent move to Los Angeles prompted the US release of New Love.
