This eponymous 2016 debut EP was where it all began for the Australian punk group The Chats, channeling the spirit of British first wave punk greats like The Clash and Sex Pistols from Queensland. While it would be another year before `Smoko’ and their sophomore EP would gain them national prominence, `The Chats’ was an energised and spirited first statement.
