O.s.t. – Erostika’s: Horror, Sex & Violence (Pink)

20 years ago Tokyo-based, internationally renowned and legendary artist RockinJelly Bean created a shop in Japan to showcase his art by the name of EROSTIKA. Whoever celebrates rock’n’roll, B-movies and art from and inspired by the 50’s to the late 70’s has inevitably come across this fantastic illustrator and artist who among others has worked with/for famous motion pictures such as Quentin Tarantino’s “Kill Bill” or “True Romance”. Inspired by artists like Ed Roth or Robert Williams, his art and the caricaturesque figures in it tell their stories while critically dealing with and reflecting exaggerated sexualization of our cartoonlike times, always spiced up with a pinch of comedy and self-irony. To celebrate the shop’s 20th anniversary on September 28th 2024, EROSTIKA releases an orginial motion picture soundtrack LP: “Horror, Sex and Violence”. It features seven fantastic Japanese bands and each of their songs was made for Rockin’Jelly Bean’s “original movie” posters and thereby continues to tell their stories musically. What a wild sound explosion! This fantastic original motion picture soundtrack is imported from Japan and distributed by Soundflat Records (worldwide, except Japan).
