MUSIC FOR SPEAK
Record label Music for Speakers was established in 2000 by five acts who share a common view and attitude towards music: Aardvarck, David Caron, Madcap, Sandor Caron and Sonar Lodge are and have been collaborating in various forms, live on stage and in the studio. Music For Speakers serves as a platform to release their adventurous, genre defying music.
Based in ‘s-Hertogenbosch at the time, M4S now operates from Eindhoven in the South of The Netherlands and is run by Richard van Kruysdijk.
On top of releases by the founding members, Music for Speakers also releases music from likeminded artists and collaborations like Roomtone (contemporary jazz), Relaxo Abstracto (Detroitish electronica), Tam Tam (clicky ambient), Strange Attractor (downtempo), Music for Speakers Amplified (clicks ‘n’ jazz), Harco Pront (raw funk electro), Szense (post jazz impro) and Outliers (ambient improv).
Many leading national and international artists have contributed to releases on M4S. Either as remixer, guest performer, contributing to a compilation, or with their own release on vinyl and/or CD.
