Gadgetor – Prey

Out of the dank confines of the Inland Northwest, in Washington State comes Gadgetor. Better known as Brandon Caldwell, vocalist for Relapse Records grindcore band The Drip, the artist/producer has been working closely with the likes of Joel Grind (Toxic Holocaust), renowned visual artist Sam Todhunter, and synthwave legend Tonebox to bring you “PREY”. The album is propelled by a dizzying display of dark toned soundscapes that seem to bear influence between synthwave, vaporwave, EDM, and goth sources. Gadgetor’s throwback influence toward science fiction and horror film soundtrack works deliver both rich layering somber atmospherics throughout. Written, arranged, composed, produced and engineered by Gadgetor, PREY will be released via Blackhouse Records (Ras Kass, Prison Religion, Slug Christ) on 7/6/18. Limited edition CD release of 300 copies available (with deluxe gatefold packaging – RED cover variant) and 100 cassettes (GREEN cover variant).
