Mdk – Cigarette

MDK is the solo project of Michael Kennedy, drummer of The Wonder Years. An extension of his creative tendencies when not on duty with The Wonder Years, Michael has carefully crafted an EP of songs that tackle both the positives and the mundanities of day-to-day life. Aided by Cameron Boucher (Sorority Noise, Old Grey), who contributed lead guitar, bass and keys, Michael recorded songs that he’d been working on throughout The Wonder Years’ tour of album ‘No Closer to Heaven’. Through a haze of states, from Seattle all the way to his cousin’s basement in Philadelphia, these songs became ‘Cigarette’.
