MERCY TIES – PROPER CORRUPTION

On their debut full-length, Proper Corruption, Mercy Ties mix the unpredictability of the late 90’s metalcore scene with the intensity of grindcore and emotionality of early screamo. The comparisons to the turn of the century don’t end with the music. Lyrically, vocalist Andre Sanabria tackles topics of a grander scale that are political and socially-charged, including gender inequality and police brutality.
