ROCKY VOTOLATO – A BRIEF HISTORY

Former singer & guitarist for Second Nature band Waxwing. Rocky has toured with the Get Up Kids, Damien Jurado, Casket Lottery, Small Brown Bike, Owen & The New Amsterdams. A Brief History is a collection of some of Rocky Votolato’s very first attempts at songwriting, with the majority of these songs being written when he was between 16 and 18 years old. A Brief History really gives an interesting perspective on where his early writing style began as well as the path his career has taken. Competently recorded by Matt Bayles with the limited resources of only 3 days in the studio, these songs show a songwriter in his formative years.
