Limited repressing of the synthpop duo’s 1981 debut album. Fronted by vocalist Marc Almond, Soft Cell achieved worldwide success with their unique cover of “Tainted Love”. Soft Cell avoided the clean and clinical synthpop sounds of bands like the Human League and preferred to twist things in a seedier direction, both lyrically and musically.
